Boston Bruins Defenseman Zdeno Chara certainly understands the importance of eating healthy and staying active. The Bruins have teamed up with the USDA to present Chara’s Challenge, a fitness and wellness program for children in grades K-8 throughout Massachusetts. Chara’s Challenge is designed to help physical education and health educators develop fitness and dietary goals that are inline with the state curriculum guidelines. Participating students receive a Bruins Score Card that lays out activities and goals, as well as, helps students to track their individual growth and improvement during the program. Students who participate in the program will receive one free ticket, with the purchase of one adult ticket, to a pre-selected Boston Bruins Home Game.
